Liberia National County Meet Competition had its second face of the quarter finals on Monday, January 20, 2020.
The first match played was a clash between LOFA COUNTY and BOMI COUNTY. “LOFA has played surprising well so far,” noted a die heart fans and supporters. “I’m impress by how they have commanded the field and the competition.” BOMI did their best to contain them and end the fast moving speed of the Wologisi Mountain Boys (Lofians). But the Mountain Boys were defiant and edge out another win. The next match was between NIMBA COUNTY and GBARPOLU COUNTY. Where we had NIMBA rubbing boots with the Jungle Boys of GBARPOLU. Nimbians took no prisoners and walked away victoriously with a 4 – 1 score. Many fans were disappointed that Gbarpolu didn’t play as expected. “It was a sorrowful moment to see Gbarpolu team completely destroyed by Nimba,” a fan expressed.
Semifinals is Thursday, January 23, 2020. Where MARYLAND will face NIMBA, and LOFA will face GRAND KRU.
